As always, this is Matt from Frunk To Trunk. Both cars in our garage are Model Ys, and the most common accessory question is simple: will this fit the new one? The refreshed Model Y, known as Juniper, changed enough inside and out that a lot of older listings no longer fit. This guide is about buying accessories that fit the refresh the first time.

If you just want a quick list of picks, see Best Model Y Accessories 2026. This page goes deeper on fit and on what to look for in each category.

First, make sure you have a Juniper

The refreshed Model Y has a full-width light bar across the front and a single cross-car taillight across the back. Inside, current Premium and Performance trims have a 16-inch center touchscreen and an 8-inch rear touchscreen, according to the specs on tesla.com/modely. If your car has those, you want listings that say Juniper or 2025-2026.

  • Check the model year on every listing. Pre-refresh Model Y parts (2020-2024) often do not fit.
  • Check the trim. Some brands list separate sets for the 2026 Model Y Standard and for the longer Model Y L.
  • Check wheel size before buying wheel covers. Tesla lists 19 or 20 inch wheels on the Model Y Premium and 21 inch wheels on the Model Y Performance.

Floor and trunk mats

Mats are the first thing I recommend for any new Model Y. 3W Auto Life (code FRUNKTOTRUNK, 33% off) lists custom-fit floor mats and trunk mats for the Model Y Juniper 2025-2026, plus separate sets for the 2026 Model Y Standard. Pick the set that names your exact model and year. For a full comparison, read Best Tesla Floor Mats for Model Y and Model 3.

Sunshades and the glass roof

The Model Y has an all-glass roof, so a roof shade is popular in summer. REEVAA (code FRUNKTOTRUNK, 10% off) has a Model Y Juniper windshield sunshade and a foldable glass roof cover. 3W Auto Life has a Juniper sunroof shade and window shades, and VION (code FRUNKTOTRUNK, 10% off) lists roof sunshades too. Again, choose the listing that names the Juniper or 2025-2026.

Screen protector

REEVAA makes a matte screen protector for the 2025-2026 Model Y Juniper. A matte finish cuts glare and fingerprints on the center screen. Make sure the listing matches the screen size of your car.

Phone mounts and charging in the cabin

REEVAA sells an adjustable MagSafe mount for the Model Y Juniper. JOWUA (code MATT25, 5% off) has MagSafe mounts, power hubs and a Charging Essentials Set listed for the Model Y (2025-2026+).

Mud flaps, plate frame and jack pads

REEVAA has no-drill mud flaps (a set of 4 with hardware), a no-drill front license plate frame and jack pads for the new Model Y. Mud flaps are worth it if you drive on salted or gravel roads. More on that in Tesla Winter Driving Tips and Accessories.

Wheel covers

VION sells 20-inch wheel covers for the 2025-2026 Model Y. Those only make sense if your car has 20-inch wheels, so check your wheel size first. The Model Y Performance uses 21-inch wheels.

Trunk storage and road trips

JOWUA lists LED trunk storage bins for the Model Y Juniper (2025+). For road trips, EVJECT (code FRUNKTOTRUNK, 30% off) makes NACS charging adapters. If you are setting up charging at home, see Best Tesla Home Charger (2026).

Paint protection

Blackout Empire (code FRUNKTOTRUNK, 10% off) does PPF, window tint and ceramic coating. Mention Frunk To Trunk or use the code.
